Cartagena des Indes

Cela faisait 3 semaines que je n'avais pas parlé en français ( hormis popa et moman au téléphone)  et sur qui je tombe à Cartagena!! dans le même dortoir, sous mon lit: 1 Quévenois et 1 Hennebontais ( pour les nuls en géographie ces 2 villes se trouvent à côté de Lorient en Bretagne, et je passe mes journées dans cette belle petite bourgade qu'est Quéven quand je rentre au pays).

Le monde est petit et je trouve ça très bien, mes neurones anglophones et espagnophones ont pu se détendre un petit peu.

On a passé 2 jours sympas en compagnie d'un couple d'allemands à pas faire grand chose (si ce n'est regarder la mer, y faire 2 brasses de temps en temps, manger et jouer au UNO) sur l'île du Barù (à 1 heure de Cartagena en barquette) à Playa Blanca, c'est une plage très calme normalement mais là c'était la "semana santa" et je crois que toute la Colombie s'y était donnée rendez-vous.... Un peu trop de monde pour moi alors retour vers le continent et la belle Cartagena.

Il est très agréable de se ballader dans la vieille ville entourée de ses remparts et de la forteresse de San Felipe. Les maisons y sont de toutes les couleurs, les balcons et terrasses très fleuris et donnent sur des rues étroites, ce qui permet de se promener à l'ombre... Et oui le ciel est bleu et le soleil tape fort sur cette cité Caribéenne.

Bref, cet endroit était parfait pour passer 5 jours de farniente.

It had been 3 weeks since I had spoken in French (except dad and mum by phone) and on whom I fall to Cartagena!! 2 frenchs boys from the same small city as me in britany! The world is small and it's so good, my english-and-spanish speaking neurones were able to relax just a little.

We spent 2 nice days together with a couple of German doing nothing of too violent (watching the see, swimming inside sometimes, eating, and playing UNO..). We were in Playa Blanca on the Barù Island (at one hour of Cartagena with a small boat). This beach is quite normally but it was the Semana Santa and I believe that all Colombia had been made an appointment on it.... Too much people for me then i return to the continent and the beautiful Cartagena.

It is very pleasant to ballader in the old town surrounded with its ramparts and with the fortress of San Felipe. Houses are of all the colors, balconies and  terraces are very floweries and streets are narrows, what allows to walk in the shadow.....  and that's great because the sky is blue and the sun is very strong on this caribean city.

In brief, this place was perfect to pass 5 days of idleness.
